La
Tuilière provides comfortable sleeping accommodation for eleven
people within a substantial house as shown above.
There
is plenty of space for leisure time, since there a large sitting room
with easy chairs, a television and audio equipment and there is also
a conservatory with additional seating and a large table for meals.
The conservatory can be used for breakfast, since it receives the early
morning sun, but it can also be used during the middle of the day, when
the sun may be too hot for some, both for lunch and for aperitifs. The
conservatory leads out on to a patio, which can be used for eating al
fresco, since a barbecue is available.
From
the patio, there are steps leading down to the swimming pool, which
has paved areas for sitting or lying on sun loungers or having an evening
drink.
Although
most cooking, in the summer, will normally be on the barbecue, the kitchen
provides excellent facilities for food storage and preparation, with
a dish washer for use at the end of the meal. Clothes washing is also
catered for fully in the utility room, which is equipped with a clothes
washing machine and ironing board.
Although

lights of houses a kilometre or more distant. Walks are possible in
all directions through the vines, including to Monestier and to La Croix
Blanche, the area around the nearby cross roads where two winemakers
have their vineyards. At night, there is little or no light pollution
such as you find in urban areas, and you will see more stars than you
realised possible.
